 | | Now is the time when your experience as a member of a community of practice will come in handy, as you are already experienced with defining a local learning agenda. The work now is to co-create a knowledge vision, set purpose, specify intentions, determine roles and responsibilities, and make agreements and commitments. It may also be a time for skill-building in the community, using tools available at The Commons. Reflections 1. What preparation do you need to do in order to engage local colleagues in designing your experiment? 2. What work of your community of practice do you need to review to prepare yourself for this leadership role? 3. What help do you need from members of your community of practice in taking on this new role? Actions Review at least some of the Tools and Resources that your own community of practice has used in the Common Space. Then review the knowledge vision, purpose, and other work your community completed at the early stage of your formation. Then, develop a plan for working with your new colleagues in your local experiment to accomplish this same work. Again, consider using members of your community of practice as mentors or critics as you go, and add these new dimensions to your Local Experiment Plan.
